If anyone has any ideas, as to how we utilise the old telephone box, please contact the Chair or Clerk of the PC. We are also looking for help to keep it clean and tidy, if anyone could spare a bit of time. We, the PC, are responsible for the general upkeep, i.e. painting and repairs.
We have received an email from Anthony Boswell PCSO 4510, with regard to a ‘parking concern’ on Dale View. He is concerned that the way residents are parking, would be a problem for emergency vehicles to get through, all thought there are no parking restrictions on the road, it’s just a concern forwarded to the people living and visiting, in Dale View. Please park with ‘consideration’, so that, if the fire services had to attend in the area, they have easy access. Thank you.
We have received an email from Emma Mortimer, Community Development Officer, DDDC. She is asking about the telephone boxes in Hartington MQ Parish, They include boxes at, Earl Sterndale, Glutton Bridge and Parsley Hay, at our last PC meeting, it was decided to keep the one in the village. We would like to hear from residents of Glutton Bridge, Parsley Hay and Hurdlow as to if they would like to ‘Adopt their box’ , if not then British Telecom will be given the go ahead to decommission and remove.
